
Visiting Hours
Going to see someone in the hospital can do wonders for a patient's spirits and recovery. There are, however, regulations and restrictions concerning these important visits. People shouldn't visit patients if they themselves aren't feeling well and are potentially infectious. There is no smoking anywhere in the hospital. For more information, visitors may check with the nursing unit.
Medical-Surgical
11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Restrictions: No one under 12 years of age may visit without permission of charge nurse. Only two visitors per patient in patient rooms.
Special Care Unit (ICU/CCU)
11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Restrictions: No one under 12 years of age. Family members or significant other only. Two visitors per patient for 15 minutes. Nursing staff may restrict or make exception in the interest of the patient's well-being. Clergy may visit any time.
Operating Room/Recovery Room
Restrictions: No visitors allowed.
Emergency Room
Restrictions: Family and friends of patients are to remain in the hallway outside the E.R. or in the waiting room.
Maternity/Obstetrics
Father/significant other may visit any time.
Grandparents and siblings of newborn: 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
General visitors (over 12 years of age): 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Skilled Nursing Facility 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Restrictions: There are no age restrictions.
